The Lupiod

by Tim

The home of the Lupoid ~ I'm raising lupus awareness!

"As my body gradually deteriorates, Lupoid becomes stronger. As the home page suggests, Lupoid can do anything even whilst I can’t do simple tasks. Through the games I play, the worlds I visit and the people I come across Lupoid grows into even more than I thought possible."

A Lupie Existence

by Falanya

"I am a daughter, sister, aunt and friend living a lupie existence with Lupus and Fibro in the majestic state of Alaska and loving it! This blog chronicles the lupie life I'm living right now. Lupus sufferers commonly refer to themselves as "Lupies" and this painful disease provides its bearers with some pretty loopy moments and I've found that it's those moments that can lend a little laughter into an otherwise unfunny existence. I prefer to laugh than cry, don't you?"

Rhiloaded: Smoke And Mirrors

by Rhian

I'm just your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill rock 'n roll ballerina and podcaster fighting lupus, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Did I mention I'm a rock star?...

Lupus - The Adventure Between the Lines

by Ellen

This is about an adventure. Its hard to think of a health problem, like having Lupus, as an adventure, since an adventure could be confused with sounding like such a positive thing. But, this is an adventure, and where an adventure takes you depends partly on the decisions and friends you make along the way...

Life Interrupted

by Janelle

One of my main goals in starting this blog was to be a valuable source of information not only for my fellow lupies but for those who care for them as well as the public in general...

Sometimes it is lupus

by Iris

I'm Uniting Church Minister, a single mum of two teenagers, a bad guitar player, a former journalist, a divorcee, and a lupus patient.  I've started blogging because, if my lupus flares again, I want an interest I can do without actually moving too much...

Cooler than You: Stupid things I say and do

by Annessa

Annessa was diagnosed with Lupus in 1992, ironically soccer practice was interrupted for the news.  In what feels like a million years ago, she was told that her body would fail her by her 20s.  She’s now in her mid 30s, lived with Lupus half her life, and she still baffles those around her with her willingness to hustle the academic world, fiction world, and the world of Lupus.

Fight 4 Lupus

Mary featured in the August 2011 'Meet Someone with Lupus' article here at The Lupus Magazine.  Her remarkable journey traces her Cambodian background and a life now devoted to raising lupus awareness in The United States and worldwide via her blog, Fight 4 Lupus.

"This blog is written with the intention to reach out to people who have lupus or have even lost a loved one to this disease. I want to bring hope to those who feel they don't have any."

A Lupie Life

by Danielle

Danielle is a third year law student, web designer, photographer, tennis player, reader, volunteer, and lupus patient. Her life has its ups and downs just like everyone else’s, though sometimes the downs last longer.

"Basically, A Lupie Life is a blog I started because my friends always come to me for advice. This is especially true of my friends with lupus. Since I was always asked, and people always told me my advice was helpful, I decided simply to put it in blog form for everyone to see whenever they needed. I will also be using it for advocacy purposes."

Kronstantinople (It’s almost uninhabitable)

by Sylvia

Sylvia has never lost her passion for investigative journalism and commentary and she posts much of her work on her popular blog, Kronstantinople. Subtitled (It’s almost uninhabitable), her blog is provocative, fearless and sometimes painful, but never boring.

"Dr. Williams strode into the examination room 55 minutes late, twirled toward me, and almost immediately declared, with a thrilling trill of triumph: “I know what you have! You have lupus!”
