Getting to Know the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR)

From the basics of what systemic lupus erythamatosus (lupus) is, to breaking news and the most promising research and drug treatments in development, the Alliance for Lupus Research is committed to bringing you information about this disease and potential cures. As the largest private funder of lupus research in the world, they have a direct line to the researchers who are finding answers where there were only questions before.

As part of the quest to raise awareness about lupus, the ALR introduces a new series of podcasts that you will find informational, helpful, and hopeful. In the first interview, "Getting to Know the ALR," we hear from Ken Farber, ALR Executive Director. Mr. Farber offers an inside look at the ALR as an organization and our mission to someday prevent, treat, and cure lupus.

The ALR are excited about this new feature, which will allow users to quickly and easily listen to an audio file with important news about lupus research. You can also subscribe to the FREE podcasts on iTunes and new segments will be automatically downloaded for you, or you can also check back with the ALR website for the latest in lupus news.
